A Message From The Executive Director

About the President & Executive Director

Dr. S. Charles Lee is no stranger to pageantry.  His first experience started in high school, where he served as a member of the stage crew for three years.  He then went on to assist and produce pageants at the Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University and the City of Tallahassee, Florida. 

In January 2000, he began Debonair Creations, Incorporated which is an event planning business.  It proved to be a lot of work, as he was still completing his undergraduate studies, working a full time job with a Fortune 500 company, and still making time for his community service organization and pageantry.  He began coaching his first contestant for the Florida USA pageant system.  Since then he has coached over 40 contestants preparing them for pageants; namely the USA, America, America Co-ed, Miss Beautiful, All-American Teen pageant systems. 

This launched his career in pageants, as he became a Preliminary Director for Miss Florida USA Pageant, producing over 20 pageants in a six year span.  He met wonderful people who kept prompting him to put his energy in his own system. This was a dream that he kept tucked away and didn’t start to truly fuel until October 2009.

A Dream is Born!

Dr. Lee launched his idea to a very close pageant friend, and discussed the foundation of the pageant.  He then decided that he wanted the pageant to represent Intellect, Grace, Glamour and Fashion-thus launching the Miss Beautiful International Pageant.  He immediately began designing the trademark- The Crown!  He wanted the crown to represent the pageant, and the extraordinary recipient.  He was very hands on with the design, even to the smallest details of stones, its size, and even where the stones would be imported from.

He began his pageant by launching the first preliminary in the State of Florida, and trained the inaugural director for the job.  Before you knew it, he was receiving nearly 50 emails a week from potential contestants.  As time went on, he knew that his dream had become a reality.
